Each piece is meant to be used and loved every day as well as being a piece of art for display. Each product may be put in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave. However, ceramics are breakable and should be protected from obvious shocks like dropping it and from sudden changes in temperature. Uneven heating can cause it to crack. The nature of the silky satin glaze means that soft metal flatware may mar the surface slightly. Simply scrub out with soap or barkeeper’s helper.
